Our organic coal soap is handmade using activated charcoal. Each soap is made with natural ingredients - including shea butter, castor, coconut, and olive oils - and cured for 6-8 weeks to give a rich, skin-sensitive lather. Our soap also comes with a soap pouch (sisal pouch) made from natural fibres. The soap & pouch combine to exfoliate your skin, leaving it clean and smooth.
How to use
- Insert the bar soap into the sisal pouch
- Soak it with water
- Rub the pouch gently against the bar and body to create lather
- Exfoliate and enjoy the uplifting scent
- After using, place the soap on our soap saver tray for a longer soap life
- Then rinse the pouch thoroughly, hang and let it dry

The coalfields of South Wales once powered the world. Throughout much of the 19th century, few corners of the globe were left untouched by Welsh-mined coal or coal-derived produce. The pure, energy-dense form - anthracite (often known as 'black diamond') - mined in the Gwendraeth, Amman & Swansea valleys was particularly sought after for its smokeless, energy-efficient burn.
It is this relatively clean & environmentally friendly (for its day) industrial cultural heritage that inspires us. We hope that the purity of anthracite is reflected in the purity of our own Anthracite Coal soap. Each bar contains activated charcoal, which helps draw out impurities from the skin. Moreover, our soap is free from allergens and great for sensitive or dry skin.
